Stoptober Preparations

STOPTOBER is just around the corner, and this year VAPEHQ will be going one step further than last year’s campaign, assisted by Blu! In previous years we have launched our very own so called SWAPTOBER campaign, which worked rather well. However, this year we thought about the NHS’ STOPTOBER campaign. The STOPTOBER campaign is one that is recognised throughout the UK, both in the media and within hospitals, GP’s etc.. Although we can’t exactly broadcast that we’re working with the NHS, we can boast that we’re assisting them in our mutual goal of a smoke free britain.

With the recent introduction of Lifestyle Bundles, that have been successful across the board, it makes perfect sense for us to incorporate them within this campaign too. At this point we're looking at attracting new customers and introducing some new products to our market. This is where we feel that BLU's myBLU pod system can assist us with our goal. We've also been searching for a competitively priced product for a while now, and myBLU fits into part of what we're looking to introduce, costing just £5.99 (Retail) as part of our STOPTOBER offering.

POD systems are working their way over to the UK market now, We’re excited to announce that we will be stocking Juul, the new vaping brand which has taken the US by storm and gained an incredible 72.2% market share. It even has its own verb... Juuling! At this point it's a great opportunity for us to introduce something different to our market, and offer a range of pods and salt nic based products. Behind this though, we are looking to not only offer the product, but offer the education around the product as well. In line with our introduction of myBLU into the VAPEHQ range, bringing Juul into the mix will widen the scope of our product offering for the ever-growing demand for discreet compact vapes and easy-to-use pod systems. These appeal to both new vapers, our older audience, the ladies and more seasoned dualists looking for portability and convenience in their devices whilst still getting that powerful punch from their patented nic salt pods.

We would also like to showcase our offering, and our customer service standards more, especially since we all work so hard to please our customers. As well as this, we'll be creating an after care package. STOPTOBER, is certainly a great opportunity to do just that. We aren’t able to launch everything at once, there are many more aftercare features to come over the next few months, but for starters, our after care package will include an educational, and personable pamphlet, including a staff notes section to further our customers education, and to really showcase our brand standards with complete transparency. It can be difficult as a customer to fully absorb every piece of information given on their initial purchase, due to our great practices, so by having this feature it really is great “refer-to guide”, and solidifies what VAPEHQ is all about as a brand. Also, within this section there will be a “Who you were served by” feature, again giving our customers that personal touch that they may not receive when shopping elsewhere.

There will be more information to follow in the coming week, but for now here's a basic rundown of what's included in this years campaign.

 

BLU

When will Stoptober be launching?

This years Stoptober campaign will launch: Monday October 1st 2018 until Wednesday 31st October 2018.

How much is the myBLU initial stocking order going to cost my store?

Nothing at all, BLU have accepted our proposal of making our stores initial stocking order free of charge, which means you'll be making 100% margin on everything! We are now just working with BLU to finalise how many of each device, and pods each store will receive, which we’ll looking to get out to all stores by the end of next week, just in time for October.

Will POS be provided?

Yes, we have posters, staff promotional t-shirts, tv assets, tester stations, as well as display units - as seen in the photo attached (The Kessler). The display units should be arriving by Wednesday this week, following this, BLU’s team will then be coming out to all stores to fully merchandise the provided units, and educate all staff members on the their product.

What’s in it for us?

We’ll all receive kickbacks for our stores, worth hundreds of pounds! All kickback figures will be confirmed in the coming weeks though, and we’ll put out another post explaining the breakdowns of how this will work. BLU are also more than happy to spread the word about VAPEHQ, and drive new customers through our doors, by opening up their customer database to us, ultimately making us official stockists. This could equal an abundance of new custom for us.

Kickbacks would be given for any products sold at the discounted STOPTOBER rates the following month.

Are there any new additions to the Lifestyle Bundles?

Yes, lots of stores were asking for the T20s to be included in the next campaign, so here it is, better known for STOPTOBER as SIMPLICITY+..!

 

JUUL

What will JUUL be offering?

JUUL will also be supplying displays and posters for every store, plus every single staff member will also receive a free device and pods in order to familiarise yourself with the product. JUUL are also very keen to come out and visit stores as much as possible to aid us with education around the product.

Do JUUL have a offer for customers during STOPTOBER?

Yes, there will be a generic starter bundle anyway going forward, as well as a great STOPTOBER offer that will include a starter pack usually costing £29.99, now reduced down to £19.99. The £10.00 loss will be covered though, through your store kickback, for instance - if you sell 10 devices during October, that would equate to £100.00 in kickbacks to cover the loss in margin, this caps out at £300.
