Hello!
Verison 0.4 Beta of the VapeHQ Franchise website is now officially in action. We're continuing to make improvements to the functionality of the website to ensure you have the smoothest purchasing process possible. We've noticed a reduction in issues this week so far and are keeping a close eye on things.
Changelog
- When initiating the checkout process, the items in your cart are now "reserved" for you until your checkout process is completed. However, we urge you to complete your checkout as fast as possible, otherwise you are reserving items that other stores may need to purchase.
- Made changes to the live stock checking system. You should now just see a flash of the little popup screen when changing quantities of products, as it is much faster. :)
- Made further tweaks to the live stock checking system to ensure you will not be able to purchase items that are out of stock.
- We have temporarily hidden the "available quantity" figure. In simple terms, this was showing what was "on the shelf" whereas our backend stock check system took into account reserved items too. Example: the website says there are 12 Nautilus coils in stock. Someone is currently in checkout with 10 Nautilus coils. When trying to add them to your cart, the website tells you there are only 2 available. Hopefully there will be less confusion about this now.
Notes
In some situations, the website will tell you that there is not enough of a product available and that the available figure is in the minus. This is an ongoing glitch with our database which we are still trying to find the cause of. In the mean time, simply wait a few minutes and try again, as the database will update itself with the accurate stock figures.
