We've been working hard over the past couple of weeks to squash all remaining bugs in the website and to make some improvements to its usability. Here is a quick run down of the things we have changed this week.
- Added a total including VAT to the "Update Cart" button.
- Added a total including VAT to the "My Cart" page.
- Note - the above two values are just a simple calculation - at checkout there may be very minor differences in total due to rounding errors.
- Rewrote the way that stock availability is checked on checkout. This should increase the speed at which this operation completes and also avoid any http:1.1 430 or similar errors that you were seeing.
- Rewrote the way that stock availability is checked when adding things to cart. Similar to above, this should now work faster and with fewer errors.
We are still investigating the bug in which clicking update cart brings up an empty dialog box and then items are removed from your cart. We think this is related to specific items being out of stock, but if you experience this issue, please contact us immediately and try to let us know exactly what you were doing when the error occurred.
