SKU Alignment SUNDAY 27th MAY 2018 between 6:00pm and 7:00pm
Great News! We are clearing up VEND.
The intention of this operation is to remove duplicate SKU’s, provide products with the correct tags and line things up to make it as easy as possible for you to manage stock. Furthermore, this also means that VEND reporting will be more accurate in regards to items sold, giving you more information to help you place better orders.
Information you need to know
On SUNDAY 27th MAY 2018 at 6PM BST, a maintenance operation will be taking place. Out of date SKU names will become updated along with the removal of any duplications.
For stores currently using the stock control features within VEND:
You will be required to execute a full stock check after this maintenance period is over as all stock counters will be reset in the process.
We recommend you arrange for a full stock check as early as possible after the changes are made, as all stock levels will be set to 0 after the change.
Along with the back end changes, we will also be refreshing the till button layout to feature all products in a user friendly layout.
Miscellaneous Product - this will not be reimplemented as it can, and is, causing huge accounting issues due to the fact that the Miscellaneous product does not have a Cost of Goods value attributed to it, meaning all sales of that product are reported at 100% profit.
